TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions apply to HARMAN’S “Tomorrowland” Promotion (hereinafter referred to as “the Promotion”) made available either on JBL Official Website jbl.com.tw/en/tomorrowland.html, the JBL Official social media account on Facebook facebook.com/jbl.tw for the Republic of China (ROC) (“JBL Taiwan Website” or “JBL Social Media Accounts”).

The Promotion is open only to participants who are above the age of 18 years and reside in the ROC.

This Promotion is organized by Harman’s local distributor in the ROC, under Harman’s supervision and support (the local distributor and Harman are collectively referred to as the “Sponsor”).

Within the context of the Promotion, the Prize (as defined below) shall be given away to the winning participant selected by the Sponsor or its affiliate (“Winner”). No purchase is necessary. 

How to participate in the Promotion

Participation in this Promotion is made possible following registration on the JBL Taiwan Website or JBL Social Media Account during the Promotion Period (as defined hereinafter).

In order to qualify for a chance to win the Prize, you must:

  1. register on the JBL Taiwan Website, follow the JBL Social Media Account on Facebook, like the Tomorrowland campaign post, and tag two friends, and
  2. provide your full name, date of birth, country of residence, email address, mailing address and a phone number where you can be reached, and
  3. answer a question posted on the JBL Taiwan Website or JBL Social Media Accounts, and
  4. agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy become an eligible participant (hereinafter, an “Eligible Participant”).

Prize

The following Prize will be awarded to one (1) Winner who is selected by Sponsor as detailed below from among all Eligible Participants:

The Promotion involves the possibility of winning the Prize, inclusive of: 

  • One (1) round trip flight for a travelling companion and the Winner;
  • 4 nights’ accommodation;
  • Transfers to and from the festival; and
  • 3 day festival pass 

to the Tomorrowland taking place in Boom, Belgium during the following weekend:

24th July 2026 to 26th July 2026. 

(*) the Winner and his/her travelling companion must be aged eighteen (18) or over.

The Sponsor will not pay for or reimburse any costs for meals, drinks, transport costs and/or costs of any other nature except as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions.

Promotion Period:

Promotion Period is from May 21st, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Taiwan Standard Time to June 15th, 2026, at 11:59pm. Taiwan Standard Time. 

At the close of the Promotion Period, Sponsor will select the Winner out of all Eligible Participants based on their responses to the question posted on the JBL Website or JBL Social Media Accounts meeting the following criteria: following the JBL Social Media Account on Facebook, like the Tomorrowland campaign post and tag two friends. 

Increase the chances of winning if an Eligible Participant has purchased:

  • JBL Portables (Flip 7, Charge 6, Xtreme 4, Boombox 4, Tuner 3): 10 entries 
  • JBL Flip 7 Tomorrowland Edition: 15 entries 
  • JBL Partybox (Partybox Encore Essential, Partybox Encore Essential 2, Partybox Encore 2, Partybox On The Go 2, Partybox Club 120, Partybox Stage 320, Partybox 520, Partybox 720, Partybox Ultimate): 20 entries
  • JBL Home (Soundbar 300 MK2, Soundbar 500 MK2, Soundbar 800 MK2, Soundbar 1000 MK2, Soundbar 1300 MK2, Horizon 3, Rise, Authentics 200, Authentics 300, Authentics 500): 15 entries

during the Promotion Period, and has completed the product warranty registration on https://www.smilesound.com.tw/login 

The Winner of this Promotion will be picked in accordance with the Selection Criteria of the Sponsor available on  https://www.smilesound.com.tw/news/article/tomorrowland

Winner shall be notified per e-mail or telephone on or before June 15 th, 2026, using the information contained in the entry form, at Sponsor’s discretion. Mobile charges or messaging rates may apply depending upon your mobile carrier. The Winner must respond within 48 hours after receipt of such notification and confirm to the Sponsor that he/she is above 18 years old and that he/she is available to travel on the exact itinerary stated above. 

Sponsor will not grant any exceptions and/or make changes to time schedules stated in these Terms and Conditions. If Winner is unable to arrive by 23rd July and travel to Tomorrowland, Belgium between 24th July to 26th July, Sponsor will select an alternate Winner at its discretion.

The failure to respond timely to any notification may result in forfeiture of the Prize and, in such case Sponsor may select an alternate Winner from among the remaining Eligible Participants, up to three (3) attempts in accordance with the Selection Criteria. 

Winner may also be sent a declaration of eligibility / liability / publicity release (“Release”). Unless restricted by law, Winner will be required to complete and return the Release within five (5) days from the date of notification. An alternate Winner may be selected from among the remaining Eligible Participants if the Winner: (i) cannot be reached; (ii) fails, where required, to obtain all signatures on the Release and to return the documents in a timely manner as required pursuant to these Terms and Conditions; or (iii) cannot accept or receive the Prize for any reason. 

Participation conditions

The date and the time of participation in the Promotion must be within the Promotion Period stated above.

Participation in the Promotion may be recurring, which means an Eligible Participant may participate more than once if a purchase is made.

Participation is voluntary and takes place by filling in the required details on the JBL Taiwan Website or JBL Social Media Account on Facebook, by submitting your application on-line and the subsequent acceptance thereof by the Sponsor or its affiliate.

Participation in the Promotion means the unconditional acceptance by the Eligible Participant of these Terms and Conditions, without any reservation or limitation.

Participation in the Promotion is open only to natural persons residing within the ROC who are 18 years or older.

During the entire Promotion Period, participants must have a valid identification (i.e., Taiwan ID Card), and, immediately on request, make a copy thereof available to the Sponsor or its affiliate, and be available for identification thereafter.

Employees of the Sponsor and of all affiliates and advertising/promotion agencies and their immediate family members are barred from participation.

In order to qualify for participation and to enter the chance to win the Prize, participants must enter a valid e-mail address on the participation application form. Participants are also obliged to furnish all other required information including name and phone number, failing which participation shall not be possible and/or the Prize shall not be awarded and not available for collection.

Participants agree that the IP address of their computers shall be stored by the Sponsor and its affiliates and used for identification purposes. The Sponsor and its affiliates shall not disclose this information to third parties.

The Sponsor retains the right to reject participants if they do not act in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

In the event the participant desires to be excluded from the Promotion, participant shall send an email to customer.support@harman.com using subject ‘JBL Tomorrowland Promotion exclusion’ and specify in the email the relevant participant details.

Incorrect, illegible, incomplete, late or incorrectly addressed entries shall not be processed. The Sponsor and its affiliates shall not be liable for inadequate entries as a result of errors or technical failures of any nature whatsoever, including a poorly functioning network, hardware or software, irrespective of whether problems arise with the sender or the Sponsor.

The Sponsor retains the right to disqualify entries if the Sponsor is of the opinion that either abuse exists or the provisions of these Terms and Conditions are being violated.

In the event one of the provisions stated in these Terms and Conditions is violated, participation shall by operation of law become null and void, possible claims to the Prize shall lapse and the participant shall be excluded from further participation.

Prize restrictions

No substitution, transfer, or cash redemption of the Prize is permitted, provided however that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with another prize of equal or greater value should the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason. Winner cannot assign or transfer the Prize to another person or entity. Winner is solely responsible for any local taxes on the Prize and may be requested to sign a tax form upon Sponsor’s request. If Winner is unable to travel during the period specified, the Prize shall be forfeited, and an alternate Winner may be chosen at Sponsor’s discretion. Winner is not entitled to any unused portion of the Prize.

The Prize is person-related and therefore non-transferable and not convertible for money or another type of compensation, unless the Sponsor independently decides otherwise.

All expenses and travel costs not expressly stated above are the responsibility of Winner and his/her travelling companion. Delivery of Prize and travel arrangements will be made after Sponsor verifies that Winner has met all eligibility requirements. Winner and his/her travelling companion are responsible for obtaining any insurance, if required or desired, and all necessary documentation for travel as well as covering all associated costs.

The Sponsor shall not replace the Prize, the notification or its contents in which the Prize is awarded if it is lost after dispatch or destroyed.

Winner and his/her travelling companion must abide by the terms, conditions, or policies of the Tomorrowland Festival, and any other third-party service provided as part of the Prize. Sponsor and any of such third-party vendors who provide the services as part of the Prize reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to any event or form of transportation as part of the Prize to Winner and/or his/her travelling companion who engage(s) in a disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at the hotel, during flight or transportation, or any event/location that Sponsor provides Winner/his/her travelling companion access to as part of the Prize

Consent

Except when such is prohibited by law, participation in the Promotion entails participants granting express, irrevocable, royalty free, worldwide and unconditional consent to the publication of their names and photos, voice, photograph, video or film clips, biographical information and/or other visual likeness in any and all media or formats known or later developed without any further compensation, permission or notification for any purpose, including without limitation, commercial, advertising and promotional purposes in connection with the JBL Taiwan Website and the JBL Social Media Account on Facebook.

Participants guarantee the Sponsor that they are the entitled parties to the visual and/or text material supplied by them and that they have received from all the persons visible in the visual material and/or referred to in the text material supplied by them the required consent for the publication and reproduction of the picture(s) and text(s). The participant in question shall, if requested, unconditionally supply the Sponsor free of charge with evidence thereof immediately upon request. Further, participants guarantee the Sponsor and its affiliates that (i) by publishing and reproducing the supplied visual or text material, no rights of third parties are infringed upon and (ii) they shall indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor and all its affiliates and third parties whose services have been engaged by Sponsor from all claims in that respect.

In addition, participants guarantee that they possess all rights and consents required by law that make it possible for the Sponsor and/or its affiliates to publish or reproduce the visual and/or text material as supplied by the participants, whether or not for commercial purposes and in all possible manners, to which the participants expressly grant consent in the broadest sense of the word.

The supplied visual and/or text material may not be of an offensive, obscene, vulgar, racist, sexist and/or pornographic nature. If the Sponsor believes that material violates good taste and morals, the Sponsor can then proceed with the disqualification of participant and/or the exclusion of participant from further participation.

Personal details

The Sponsor or its affiliates shall collect only those personal details that have been expressly and freely given by the participants in the context of the Promotion.

The personal details furnished by the participant shall be processed under the responsibility of the Sponsor. The Sponsor shall handle the personal details in accordance with the applicable statutory requirements. These personal details shall be handled by the Sponsor in accordance with the Privacy Policy and shall not be furnished to third parties without participants’ prior consent, except in the event the Sponsor is obliged thereto on the basis of statutory provision or a court decision.

The Sponsor shall use the furnished personal details for the administration of this Promotion only, unless participants have given permission for information to be used for marketing and promotional purposes. Participants’ information will be retained for as long as Sponsor has a legitimate business interest and will not be used for marketing without express consent of the participants.

Exoneration

The Sponsor, its affiliates, the agents whose services have been engaged by the Sponsor or third parties cannot be held liable for any actions ensuing from this Promotion and the damage and/or loss ensuing therefrom to the extent such exclusion is permitted by law.

To the extent any liability of the Sponsor, or its affiliates, exists, this liability shall never include any damage and/or loss other than direct damage and/or loss. The Sponsor and its affiliates shall have no liability whatsoever with respect to indirect, special, incidental, consequential damage and/or loss, which are hereby expressly excluded.

If for any reason an entry or confirmation e-mail of a participant is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, the participants’ sole remedy is another entry in the same Promotion during the Promotion Period. Except where prohibited, Winner also agrees, where allowed, to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor and each of its affiliates, respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents (collectively “Releasees”) from and against any claims, damages, disability, attorneys' fees, and costs of litigation and settlement, as well as any liability due to any injuries, damages or losses to any person (including death) or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from: (i) use, redemption, acceptance, possession, ownership, or misuse of the Prize, (ii) participation in any activity, event, or excursion offered in connection with the Prize, (iii) use of any facility, service and/or accommodation related to the Prize, or (iv) participation in any Promotion-related activity or participation in this Promotion. The Releasees shall not be liable for: (i) late, lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete unreadable, inaccurate, garbled or unintelligible entries, communications or affidavits, regardless of the method of transmission; (ii) telephone system, telephone or computer hardware, software or other technical malfunctions, lost connections, disconnections, delays or transmission errors; (iii) data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry or other materials; (iv) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by the Prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of the Prize, or from participation in the Promotion; or (v) any printing, typographical, administrative or technological errors in any materials associated with the Promotion. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, and except where prohibited, Releasees are not responsible for computer malfunctions, network connections, email delivery problems, systems failure or incompatibility, typographical, technical or key-stroke errors, or interruptions in your internet service, and for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, misprinted, late, lost, damaged or stolen notifications.

In the event Sponsor is prevented from continuing with the Promotion as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to (a) acts of God,; (b) fire, hurricane, flood, earthquake, epidemic, pandemic or any other (natural) disaster; (c) riot, war, armed conflict, invasion, terrorist threats or act, destruction of production, office or warehouse facilities; (d) acts of any national, supranational, or public or military authority,; (e) national or regional emergency; (f) import/export embargoes, blockade, industrial disputes,; (g) unavailability or delay in supply of (raw) materials, transportation services, customs services or labour on normal commercial terms, or (h) power outages or shortages, or telecommunication breakdowns or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control (each a "Force Majeure" event or occurrence), then subject to any governmental approval which may be required, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Promotion. If the Promotion is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select the Winner from all Eligible Participants received as of the date of the event giving rise to the termination. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Terms and Conditions shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

The Sponsor and its affiliates give no guarantee for the Prize to be issued by Sponsor or its affiliates to the extent such exclusion is permitted by law.

Other provisions

In the event fraud or manipulation is suspected, the Sponsor or its affiliates can also report to the competent authorities without notice.
